Mindfulness, to be Seated in the Soul

Mindfulness is the practice of being present with sensory experiences and internal states while not attaching or judging to anything that arises within the field of awareness. This is being present with what is and letting it flow through you. In not attaching to internal states or sensory experiences, we paradoxically allow ourselves to live more fully in the moment, experiencing those realities more completely.
The practice of mindfulness is a pathway towards living a deeper and more fulfilling life. It is a method where one can progressively develop greater depth of awareness in the present. This allows one to choose on what and where they place their awareness, being proactive with their intentional health. Without mindfulness one is at the whims of their thoughts and emotions, more likely to become clouded within their perceptions.
From a mindful state we have the freedom of proactivity in our thoughts and actions while also being able to enjoy sensory and internal states more fully as there are less distractions to disrupt the flow of perceptual information. This state improves positive feelings of wellbeing and increasing levels of creativity while lowering negative emotions like anxiety and depression.
To be mindful is to be seated in your soul. Centered in your perceptions you can navigate the world with greater ease, perform at higher level of excellence in whatever your given field of expertise is and be able to feel more fully. Mindfulness is a habit with exponential return, as your awareness builds so do all the positive experience that accompany that expansion.
